Ted Cohen

Ted Cohen has spent 35 years as a Maine newspaper reporter on a number of beats with the Portland Press Herald. His favorite was covering the Bush "summer White House" in Kennebunkport, Maine.

Born in Burlington, Vermont in 1951, Ted got his degree in journalism from the University of Vermont. After a brief stint in radio news in his hometown, he went on to be a stringer for a Vermont newspaper. Cohen's drive to be a full-time newspaperman led him to the Press Herald in Portland, Maine.

Cohen is a member of the National Writers Union and a past president of the Vermont Associated Press Broadcasters Association. He is also a contributing writer to The Forecaster, a Maine newspaper, as well as a notary public.
